record label
In this example, Leah took a very messy sales statement and a simple list of debits and credits and turned it in to a professional looking monthly statement for each artist. One component is using spreadsheet functionality to distribute sales between the label and artist based on individualized splits for each item. Another is creating simple tables where the label owner can provide the required information to be used in the above ways. Finally, as a special project, raw data from the fulfillment company was used to produce a detailed analysis on shipping costs per item and was used to change pricing in order to ensure profitability on each item.
-
residential renovation contractor
In this application, Leah took a small contractor’s booming covid-era business and streamlined all processes into a set of organizational tools that run like a well-oiled machine. From payroll processing + bookkeeping to client correspondence + intake to scheduling + procuring materials for all projects, systems were created and implemented to create transparency, clarity and above all - integrity.
-
Tattooer
Leah has an ongoing schedule management relationship with a small cohort of tattooers and is always looking to add more individualized service based clients. With the tattooers, Leah creates an intake form personalized to the tattooers needs, learns their dos and don’ts and is able to take over almost all email correspondence, and handles all scheduling and deposit procurement. Once the relationship is established, she prides herself on needing very little direction from the tattooers so they can focus on their work - art! This service suite should translate across a great many fields.
-
Music festival
Leah’s pride and joy is the music festival she stumbled her way into producing. Initially brought in to handle sponsorships and hospitality, she quickly stepped in to take the reins on all production related issues: staffing, sponsorships, documentation, contracting, gear rental, and so on and so forth. The festival gets glowing reviews from artists and fest-goers alike, especially as it relates to the smoothness of the operation.
-
Booking company
Alongside work on the festival, Leah has been able to translate her experience there into a position with a year-round booking company that also specializes in touring. She’s been very pleased to create a special suite of documents and tools that help streamline the planning and accounting processes associated with booking concerts. These include models for gig financials as well as expense + income tracking master sheets for tours and many others.

restaurant
After essentially growing up in a restaurant (Leah began working food service at age 15 and only finally stepped away during covid), we have a lot to offer friends and clients in the restaurant world. From easily usable food cost accounting worksheets, to complicated tip pooling trackers, we’ve got it covered.
